This just happened, earlier I mentioned to my wife that I had pain in my hip & might need hip replacement. Neither she or I did any search about it, then a few hours later she started getting posts on FB about hip replacement. Maybe our cell phones or TV are listening. This really happened, spooky. 🤨

I was thinking the same thing. I thought people on GW weren't this naive.
Aslan is older and it’s tech. It happens.
Shoot even a lot of young Gen X is having trouble swimming in this tsunami of tech deployment.
Fortunately, "flip phones in Faraday bags" seem to be quite the thing, so apparently a lot of people are figuring this out.
I get the idea but at this point they probably either lost control of it or still have really strong sigint.
No reason those flip phones couldn’t be just as bad as the TV or washing machine. The bag helps of course, but also makes it a one-way signal.
We really just need to have control of signals again somehow. That, or the appearance of that, are probably some distance off.
