I would say though that the title is not entirely accurate. Its not about how to keep the war going if Putin/Trump reach a peace deal, but rather how to ensure they wont reach a peace deal.
But the short answer is Putin/Trump are not the only players in the peace game. Ultimately no matter what agreement they arrive at, Ukraine will have to agree, it seems to me. And the EU can poison Ukraine's agreement.
Zelensky is as much a player in the peace game as EU - since he is just a pawn of the EU.
The only players are Trump, Putin and Ukrainian People, and all three of them want peace.
