With that tunnel completed I am imagining folks in Alaska crossing the tunnel for a day trip to Russia like we do at Niagara Falls to go to Buffalo for a Sabre's game lol.

You ever been to eastern russia? If developed could be good for travel. But as it is, there is nothing there to day trip too. Russians coming to alaska though, that would give them russians atrip.
