“ Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it.”
“And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost. History became legend. Legend became myth”
We’ve got hints and indications of little known chapters of our own history. In Europe in the Czech Republic there’s a castle built strangely. Far off the beaten path and away from Medieval trade routes. Its Defenses also all face inward. As though the objective was to keep something in. Rather than out. Correspondingly local legend indicates that the Castle was built over a gateway to deeper into the earth that Creatures periodically emerged from.
The Austrian Army Medical Corps filled extensive reports of encounters with Vampires in Serbian territories throughout the 18th century. After the Medical Corps responded to inexplicable and strange deaths among the population. It’s also where the name was coined.
A 1561 Broadleaf. That’s the Newspaper of the era. Recounts a Celestial Phenomenon over Nuremberg seemingly reminiscent of a Battle.
Another event occurred in 1566 over Basel Switzerland. And again in 1665 over Stralsund Germany. All descriptions seemingly describe protracted engagements. Rather than atmospheric phenomena.
There’s also a growing consensus that are many of humanities earliest archaeological sites are currently underwater. Due to changes in sea level forcing the movement of populations. Yet actual exploration of the Ocean Floor is rare.
We comparatively know more about space. And we know absolutely dickall about space. And if recent evidence coming in from telescopes and modern probes is any indication. Much of what we knew was based off mistaken assumptions and incomplete evidence.
The only real question left is. How much of the Historical Record has been deliberately obscured. And how much is just the result of the natural ebb and flow of history as cultures died out. Wars were fought and borders changed

I’m figuring all of history is bullshit until proven otherwise.
I found that interesting, thank you🙏🏻
