Quebec has the highest debt per capita, than any other Province. Quebec collects more money from the rest of Canada. They would be giving up a good thing if they left Canada. They could also, become a new Nation and offer Freedom from the rest of Canada that is slowly.being destroyed with an Indian and Muslim overload.
They also are French and were never giant fans of English Canada. So it’s a question of will financial self-interest. Triumph over nationalistic interests.
Though they may also be reading the writing on the wall and are heading for the lifeboat while the getting is good.
