I’m suspecting chicken at my local grocery store is giving me a bad reaction. Maybe the way it’s being processed. I’m going to try a “free range” brand they carry to see if it works for me better.
If you can do so, try to find a farm market or local farmer in your area for meat and veg. It isn’t always easy or cheap, but generally your money is going directly to the farmer / family business. Might find something you like.
Search for some farm-to-table websites that cover your area.
Give the free-range a try too, but I’m pretty sure it is essentially a label that gets taken advantage of for marketing.
I'm on week three of keto mostly carnivore but I have cheese and eggs. The first few days sucked because of the headache but all of my aches and pains I attributed to being almost 50 are now gone. Im already a celiac so giving up rice and oats wasn't all that hard.
Not going to pretend I know about all the inner body workings and long term effects. I will say with absolute certainty I never felt better and had a healthier looking body than after doing strict carnivore for 6 months. My wife and I loosened up and drifted out of it and I saw a change back in many areas for the worse.
We are motivated now to go back to it.
8 year carnivore here and yeah it's almost like having a superpower. The downside is the cost of my ribeyes, they keep getting more expensive. I think carnivore is catching on and people are eating more meat.
I am so confident in the diet and the results in my own life that I don't carry health insurance anymore. Not carrying insurance pays for all the meat, plus a lot more in savings (more than enough to pay for any unexpected medical bills).
I did carnivore not keto but doubled my testosterone. Also I have abs for the first time in my life,
We need new commercials:
“My baloney has a 1st name…….. it’s C - A - R - N - I………….my baloney has a 2nd name……it’s V - Ooo - Rrrrr - E……
something-something……… my baloney really has a waaaaay…..of re-pair-ing my DNA”
( if you don’t get that one, sorry, I’m old)
Now, if we could just get healthy meats available at commercial scale instead of mrna injected swine.
Maybe start with NO BALONEY & NO HOTDOGS. Meat that sort of looks like it was cut from a living creature only.
