Its an Ilyushin Il-96-300PU. 181 ft long 197 ft wide, give or take a few inches. The 747-8i is much larger at 250 ft long by 224 ft wide. Putin's plane is a bit smaller than a 777-200. "Massive"? Ehhhh....

Clearly, you haven't been close up to a 777. An Il-96 is "massive" by any description.

Those wheels seem absolutely massive for a 777-sized aircraft. I wonder if it's absolutely loaded for bear on weight or something.
