Really people!?? Are we that ignorant ourselves that we jump on this bandwagon and become assholes to other Americans? Why not look at the social/economic cultural programming that the poor among us have been subject to? Let's discuss real solutions rather than fall prey to hate and narrow mindedness. We become no better than the leftist blob who created this problem in the first place with these types of comments.

Unfortunately, I've seen it before. Just can't help but comment. Some of the people here are assholes. And, then they yell at the left for their hatred of humanity. But, it seems rampant here too.

We created this problem with the government system we put in place. Looks like govt is trying to correct the issue piece by piece. What's the problem?
Restricting people from buying fruit loops does not fix the problem. The stores are full of processed foods. That's what the average person is used to buying. There has to be a better solution then restricting food stamp recipients from buying soda pop. That's my criticism of this latest gimmick from the HHS agencies. It's a bandaid on a huge, gushing wound. It seems the poor among us always take the brunt of this kind of kneejerk reaction. Have you seen what is served for school lunch programs? Why not fix that situation? I haven't heard a thing about that. Have you?
