When people come from a low trust society where rules are seen as optional, this is the result.
I stopped to help an African family who couldn't seem to change a flat tyre on their car.
The guy didn't have the tools or know how to change a wheel.
The tyre was worn right through the canvas, the wire and inner lining and was worse than any tyre I'd ever seen in my life. It had burst on a main road for this reason.
I changed his wheel for him then told him in front of his family that his car was unsafe and behaviour like this was not acceptable in the UK.
He didn't really care and I saw him driving badly another day.
I've seen unsafe cars on the road where I am too. These were rust holes the size of baseballs, so if they grazed someone it would take a chunk out of their leg. The driver had a full turban and beard, this was a few years ago when i noticed there was a problem with foreign drivers. It's now a lot worse.
The global attempt to disrupt western civilization is apparent even in little stories like this! (and I thought, "this person must be in UK because they spell tire "tyre", and then came to where you said you were in UK :) )
I always want think the best of people no matter where they are from.
This was so disappointing for me.
Should have let natural selection weed it out lmao.
Hopefully they learned from the experience. Always inspect the car before you steal it.
