I think they really think they are untouchable. They never thought Trump would win the first time, used corrupt voting to make sure he didn't win in 2020, and thought they would not have to deal with him even in the election in 2024, so all of the obvious fraud being revealed now was, in their minds, never going to happen. I would love to hear the closed door discussions they are having right now about all that is happening :)
