What do you do about the people that were born here and have a hundred years ancestry all here, but are blue haired left wing nut jobs? Including those currently in Congress?
This is just racism by ancestry and a desire to disenfranchise naturalized citizens and those born or descended from naturalized citizens. Are the "3rd-generation" types willing to stand up and carry the burden of leadership and activism? In my 74 years, I have seen no such evidence.

Citizenship is not immutable. Cruz could renounce his Canadian citizenship if he wants to run for office here.
