When you know they're not after you, the good upstanding normal American, then the sight of massive police and/or military presence brings a great feeling of safety, peace, and satisfying comfort. A sense that you are not alone against the insaniacs.

It's only natural that a deepstate tool like Blitzer would feel the opposite.
