It's not that she was really "fired" it is that Texas successfully passed the new redistricting maps and she’s now a part of a new district when she is up for reelection. She can still run in that district, but it would be a long shot for her to win. Everyone on X is saying that basically she is fired, just a fun way of saying she probably won't be elected again in the new district.
