We need to get the group of liberals in Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbia, Rolla, and Jefferson City out of the picture. Cut those districts up until liberals cry that they won't ever be able to elect one representative. Although Springfield is the third largest city in Missouri it doesn't have the problems that KC and St. Louis have with its liberal base. Southern Missouri is a lot more conservative than those two hot spots. Plus, as we all know, Jefferson City is the state Capitol and is heavily populated with liberals because they seem to congregate where the center of power resides. "Stay close to the money and maybe some might come your way" ought to be the rallying cry of the left.
I don't know about KC but St. Louis has been under democrat admins since just after ww2. That would explain why it has been bleeding residents to the surrounding counties for a couple of generations now. They need a DC style MO National Guard on every street corner.
