The second quote you used was an interview discussing whether Epstein had a client list in discovery, which Dershowitz said, there is no official "client list" in existence that he knows of.

Discussion B) A client list from Epstein's belongings that is now alleged to be in discovery.
It is really not that hard to differentiate between the two discussions and to understand they are two completely separate topics.
