Yes. I work in a field where, ten years ago, maybe 1-3 Indians. Now my entire team has expanding not only to 80% Indian, but also added and entire offshore team in India.
I do really like my Indian coworkers, they work, and the ones I work with are cool: they like guns, off roading, and are quiet and clean. The problem is, companies take advantage of them. Not just my company, but Indian bosses will take advantage of Indian workers. There's no "off hours", there's no "saying no.". It's basically golden handcuffs.
Add to that they're taking jobs from American citizens and it's hard to justify keeping massive amounts of H1B hires.
Correct. I work with ones that seem professional now but they'd roll my head in a second flat if they could increase their own pay doing so. I got fired from my last job over some complete horse shit by an Indian boss that was inserted above me. He fired every American on the team and told us the only hiring that could be done to backfill positions was to be done in India.
The H1B effectively nullifies constitutional rights. If the foreign worker makes a remark about something being unconstitutional, they risk losing their H1B and being deported. Then managers can use that to undermine Americans by threatening to replace them with H1B workers if they point something out as being unconstitutional. With the courts & lawyers as corrupt as they are, there's little chance of winning a lawsuit from either way.

They quietly hate you and will hire their cousin at your expense. Stop being nice to parasite economic migrants
