Its not an attack on prayer at all I don't think... its an angle to go after 2A - no one has said "prayer is bad". They have all been parroting "prayer is not enough" - they are trying to get people behind some incoming attacks on the Second Amendment. They are stupid as this just further makes Dems look horrible.
