It is satisfyingly accurate to hear the shooting accurately described as in a CHURCH and during MASS. The fact that these children were targeted while at prayer is significant and misrepresented by the media. This is by all definitions what is meant by "Holy Ground". Seeing the media downgrade Mass to a "school" incident is ugly.
The fact that his manifesto was written in cyrillic has me wondering:
Was he writing in Russian or Ukrainian (there is some difference)?
The implication of blowing away people in a Catholic church with a manifesto written in cyrillic, is hinting at the old rift between Orthodox and Catholic that happened in Byzantine times. But it seems a bit of a reach, it being so long ago.
So, maybe it was an attempt to smear Russians, in another intelligence-infested op? This is why I am asking the question.
I doubt the kid did it just because they are riman catholics. His mom worked there, it was familiar and a soft target. Stop making it about being catholic.
