This is why President Trump is trying to ramp up production in the USA and using tariffs as the tool to do so.

Yes. All the resources we import are under our feet. Alex jones once had a petroleum engineer who said Alaska has enough oil to take 0.25 cents a gallon. Alaska has Middle East oil reserves. This country is resource rich and we import everything and get ripped off
Outside of China/Afghanistan/Russia you have California which is rich in metal resources too but is under lock and key due to current politics in California.
