Is this legal? Blowing up a ship in international waters based on an unproven accusation that they are "narcoterrorists"?
Don't get me wrong I don't want cartels operating their business and bad people need to be got rid of. But even the military needs to obey the law and it's a slippery slope when law goes out of the window.
If you just blow up things on the high seas that's called piracy. The right way would have been to bust them, a judge finds them guilty, then they go to jail.
Maybe the legality hinges on them having been designated as a terrorist organisation?
I want Trump to get rid of the cartels and I ain't complaining, but I do want it done by the book so dems cannot come back later and shout that it was illegal.
