Be wary of private schools. My former spouse (now deceased, my "ex-ex") was a primary school teacher for some 30 years, and of libertarian disposition. She cautioned that the idea that private schools would be a cure is mistaken, as many of the bad ideas adopted by public schools have also been adopted by private schools. These ideas circulate in the educational community without regard to public or private funding. So, due diligence will be important.
100% agree; we go to a small Christian private school but you are spot on as they quickly can focus on the "business" end of things. Furthermore, as you said they often are modeled after public schools. I've taught in both, & can confirm exactly as you stated; so as you said diligence is so important.
Still praying for you Purkiss and other SA's; keep up the good fight as always!
