Either cut the rates or have an audit then eliminate it completely there was no Federal (not a government agency) reserve (they have no money reserves only printing machines) prior to 1913
Could it be that it was the year the Ford Thunderbird came out as a 4-door model? Or might it have been the introduction of the Ford Edsel? Big things, that year. (But, really, any year is a good year to be alive. Consider the alternative!)
Also the year the model T Ford came out was at the same time when they discovered the T-Rex and both have one thing in common beside the year of their founding,
They both went 45 mph.
As far as the Thunderbird?
The 1986-87 model 4cyl turbo charged was my all time favorite.
And you are right about any day you are alive is a good day

Mr common sense right here.

It's their last castle. You cannot just get them to open the moat drawbridge.
There is no reason for doing that. They should be raising rates.
I depend on getting interest back for loaning money to banks.
Anyone who has a savings account is lending money to banks.
When Reagan left office the interest rates were 10%.
At 4% they're suddenly too high??
Mr President what's up??
Yes, they want your savings accounts in their brokerage accounts.
By the way what is the significance of 1958 in your posting name?
A lot of interesting things happened that year.

That is interesting you say that because local walk in banks will tell you it could take days to transfer money out.
But when it comes to transferring money to a broker like Fidelity, it happens like warp speed.
I recently doubled up my Fidelity Spaxx account as it is currently paying out close to 4%. (Parked money)
It took like from one evening and landed there the next moring.
