Yes. This is the way forward..
With simple designs it's very easy to make guns. They could run parts off the CNC machines at night. It's just hard to organize with the total government control they have.
I'd argue that the only way is the military as per Q. We're beyond street fights with handguns, that could escalate into complete chaos which Q wants to avoid.
During WW2 Americans were asked to donate small arms to the UK. Funny how history repeats itself. The Brits should start getting into HEMA clubs because the Army isn't going to step in. I wish it were more popular in the US. HEMA looks like good fun, good exercise, and good community.
The NRA donated a bunch of guns and they never returned them after the war they were collected and destroyed. IIRC

The last time the UK was armed by the USA was when the Boston Mob armed the IRA, I doubt if they would do that again.

We have guns in the US and we don't do shit. We constantly get fucked over by every politician and government entity as well as every shit skin who continues to flood into the country and we still do nothing. Having a gun is not the solution...

We Germans never were armed. We`re safe by definition and when the definition doesn´t fit our politicians declare war on the real culprits! As did the Essen mayor who declared war on the knife!
