Likely not. If only because a significant portion of the population would lose their shit.

El-Salvador managed it. Because the population has lived in fear for decades. And they wanted the fear to stop and the source eliminated. And didn’t really blink twice at the cost. The fact Bukele managed the gangs and can govern competently on top of that. Is just a bonus.
