It's a shame Australian government bent the knee to China and gave them all their coal. Would be able to power steel foundries and actually put the ore to use for their own economy.
We seem to give away our coal and gas while everyday Australians struggle, I wouldn't be surprised if some overseas mining company or nation state gets rich off it while we get fuck all.

Yes but some are a lot more ancient than others. We have some of the oldest rocks in the us ,near my old hometown in Upper Michigan.
