Just opt out guys. We can't be violent for obvious reasons but that doesn't mean we can't do something. Update your W4 to stop collecting federal income tax and stop filing altogether. You have the choice to stop funding our enemies. I've been doing it for close to a year. It's scary and liberating but we need to send a message. Stop asking for permission. This is 1776!

The W-4 thing is an easy, legal way to reduce the taxes collected paycheck by paycheck. I've been doing it since the early 1990s when I learned about it.
Of course, the bill comes due April 15ish or later if you file for an extension, and since the 1990s the IRS has retaliated by adding underpayment interest/penalties.
Taxation is theft, legalized theft. Because it is legal there are consequences for non payment. Choose your battles carefully. A wage slave can only do so much.
If you want to really fight back, start a business and make your life tax deductible. What you save in taxes will be offset by accounting fees and other necessities, but at least you get something for those expenditures, and, they are tax deductible.
This, a wage slave can't move the needle much unless it is done in mass.
A lone tax defaulter will be prosecuted very soon.

Federal taxes make my blood boil in general, but property taxes and death taxes really are beyond the pale.
Ditto mine. It would be one thing if I saw something was being done with it, other than just lining pockets with hands out saying "gimme more." Besides, what risk is the government participating in? They want all the upside of gain, but none of the downside of risk.
