Christian here, but I’m going to leave God’s judgment of the Jews up to him. I wouldn’t want to face judgment without Christ, but it also isn’t said that the root was hewn out, but that branches were removed.
Romans 11:16 - 16 ¶ For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 19 ¶ Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Call me a “heretic” if you want. Funny way of saying “wrong”, which I may well be, but if the root is left, well, maybe there’s still hope for some. Sorry if I’m hopeful that perhaps we’ve misunderstood something.
“Heresy” charges usually come from the Catholic side. I do consider you brethren, and boy are you guys gonna be salty when you find out what’s definitely been mistaught in your dogmas.
Don’t worry though, I’m sure I’ll still be answering for plenty, myself. I thank Father for His grace, and trust that the resurrection of our Passover Lamb will be sufficient. What else?
