Just like Germany back in the 30s, they didn't wake up and decide to hate on them, there was a lot of behavior that lead up to the dislike of them. Moreover, the German leader gave them plenty of time to get out of the country. Those who thumbed their very large noses are Germany's self-determination, were rounded up and put into work camps. Most normie Christians don't know these basic facts.
Nobody pretends to be the 144k remnant. There’s no biblical mandate or obligation for Gentiles to know who those people currently are. They will, nevertheless, confess Isaiah 53 when they repent and believe.
Christian here, but I’m going to leave God’s judgment of the Jews up to him. I wouldn’t want to face judgment without Christ, but it also isn’t said that the root was hewn out, but that branches were removed.
Romans 11:16 - 16 ¶ For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 19 ¶ Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Call me a “heretic” if you want. Funny way of saying “wrong”, which I may well be, but if the root is left, well, maybe there’s still hope for some. Sorry if I’m hopeful that perhaps we’ve misunderstood something.
“Heresy” charges usually come from the Catholic side. I do consider you brethren, and boy are you guys gonna be salty when you find out what’s definitely been mistaught in your dogmas.
Don’t worry though, I’m sure I’ll still be answering for plenty, myself. I thank Father for His grace, and trust that the resurrection of our Passover Lamb will be sufficient. What else?
Israel and the church are distinct. There is no sudden disappearance of Israel in Revelation 4 and reappearance of Israel near the end of the book. The church descends with Christ.
Saying “Israel is the church” is like saying, “salt is pepper.” God is not grafting one thing into self to make itself jealous so that it won’t boast. Accurate theology is obligated to pass the logic test and be reasonable. Redefining terms with abhorrent theology is the only way to make an argument otherwise.
Christian Gentiles are grafted into the original Jewish branch / tree. But that does not mean we do not share in covenant and blessing with God’s Jewish remnant (non-Gentiles). There is a sense in which Christ reigns now in the kingdom and there is still an earthly kingdom yet to come form which He will reign. Approximately 1,000 years is the time limit.
