IMHO everything we have seen, including even this extremely dubious account of body armor, is still consistent with an intended headshot, with trigger jerk pulling the round down and to the right

I'll never buy the surgically precise targeting of the carotid artery from hundreds of yards away. Pro and amateur alike would aim for the head, a target triple the size with a virtual guarantee of death.
