Agree. From the escalator video, looked like it was working fine until he stepped on it, then it switched off. Notice the up escalator next to it still seemed to work. So I think it was intentional to either

A) make him look bad,

B) struggle up the stairs, or

C) a message from some DS MFers like "we can stop your progress whenever we want".

Or you could be right too. Just some immature Libtards hitting the off switch thinking it would be wildly amusing/embarrassing.
