If people 'get used' to paying X amount for something, and the company can continue to sell it for that price, even if the economy overall is not great, they very well might do so and pocket the difference. I believe most companies are, and will continue to be, greedy. But the people need some relief, somewhere somehow.
Agreed. Get your legislatures to write laws against usury.
That would be great, but in Maryland (like other Blue states) the legislature is also Blue, so it will be tough.
