We started homeschooling this year. Its going great. Ill be damned if I cart my kids off to welfare school ever again. I cant verify this but we feel that we are ahead of other kids her age especially with the reading.
Great to hear that you were able to break away from the indoctrination camps.
There is no need to compare your kids to academic levels. The benefit of homeschooling is to teach children how to learn, it doesn’t matter what and when they learn, just the fact that they develop the ability to learn and will be able to pursue their passions later in their adult life. You will start caring less about academics after a year or two into it.
This is a POWERFUL testimony to the effect that propaganda has on people, especially those with little to no "critical thinking" skills IMHO.
Why do you think critical thinking is barely taught in schools anymore? Public school creates consumers and workers that don't think much.
