Just the fact that he is alive today is proof that the white hats have been protecting him. I was always trying to understand why he was taken into prison not long after Giuliani met with him. I wouldn't be surprised if Rudy told him back then that he would be testifying now, I wonder if that "prison" was really a way of protecting him.
