I wish these no-nothings would stop saying "etching". They could say marked or written on and it would be true. You would never etch a case wall unless you wanted to get a cartridge stuck in the chamber and have a failure to eject, or a failure to feed when trying to chamber a round.

It bothers me too. In this case semantics matter.
