I thought it was fine for year, it won't fuck you up badly. Then read the metro paper in London one day going into work. Some poor kid was admitted to hospital for taking some a few hours before she should have and was being treated 3 days later for severe liver & kidney issues. At that point I limited it's use on me fast.
Ehhh, I still use lemsip for flu symptoms. That's all I use it for though. My immune system tends to be a bit hyperactive which gives me other issues, so it's rare that I need to use it.
Stop that crap mate. Get yourself a kit of MMS (Chlorine Dioxide) and if you feel any illness like cold or flu coming on, mix up a dose and it will disappear. Totally safe, no side affects.
