Yep. We used to jokingly spam the channels we were in with "aol.txt" messages. Remember that? kek
Some of the channels I hung out in are still around on EFNet, funnily enough. I just checked the other day. Same bots too, and I still have ops in one of them.
Oh I remember.. I was only a kid but I'd sneak to the basement and dial up the modem and chat lol
I had one of the original AOL admins in my circle of friends back then. He would spam us with the AOL CDs at my office in the Pentagon.
I haven't been on irc for years now. Who knows - I could still have ops myself in #hack if it still exists.
