I'm about to lose my mind with how much I hate being awake! I am surrounded by friends and neighbors that are Boomers that don't give a fuck unless the balance in their Portfolio shrinks (even if just a little bit)! I cannot stand to walk down the street needing to keep things calm and polite. I struggle everyday to understand people that think at this point it's still ok, while their children's cities are under attack, to keep their heads in the sand and not want to understand why its all happening.

I don't hate that I see it clearly. I don't hate that I've had confirmation of my interpretation of it, bc I felt very alone in my circle of people. I'd make comments to start conversations, that were already uncomfortable bc of social anxiety, only to be shot down and mocked. I'm quite happy with an awakening where every comment that was mocked is being validated.
