There was a man names Saul of Tarsus and he was a persecutor of the church to the point where he watched people being stoned to death and may have even participated. He was on his way to Damascus to round up Christians and he had an encounter with Jesus and was converted to Christianity. He went on to write 13 books of the New Testament after changing his name to Paul.

Don’t think you need to clean up your life before you become a Christian because you can never clean up your life enough. The day of your salvation is today. Believe in Jesus Christ today and begin to change your life now.

Honestly, darkness flees when you let the light in. Right now you are conscious of the fact that you’re a sinner. You don’t really like who you are. When you let the light in, when you turn towards the light and invite the light to shine into your darkness, your darkness will disappear. I promise you. You’ll think to yourself “that sounds like a good one.” Pay attention to that because that is God speaking to you. He will direct your steps. You have to remember that you may see yourself as someone that you don’t like. But that is not how God sees you. To God, you are very, very precious. I so hope you take these words to heart.
