When imposed by autocrats, hiding under the false authority of a popular mandate, it should be called out. That's why consent of the governed is such an important, foundational principle. Once the government ignores that responsibility, it becomes tyranny.

As we've seen, the tyrants have become more subtle, patient and skilled in order to better deceive us, not less tyrannical.
