We saw only what they wanted us to see/hear.... Just enough to make everyone think this was all about shaping up or shipping out...

You can bet that with all the recent reports of Microsoft "Chinese contractors" read Israel, Red Sea MS Azure lines being cut and other MS related news, direct, private, in person COMs was absolutely required to prevent leakage...

On the heels of these reports, I suspect that communications are severely compromised and getting back to basics, plus reminding everyone that loose lips sink ships, was the order of the day.
