Waiting for further info, but the pictures show what appears to be the entire class of 100+ students chasing him outside, pepper spraying him, and surrounding him once he's on the ground.

If it were a single student's actions, the school can't be held liable.
If an entire class of 100+ students chased and attacked him... the school is most definitely liable.
He didn't get attacked though, he was talking the entire time 5 or so students surrounded him waiting for campus PD. His story is baloney for clicks and internet cred. If you're not a student, you can't just walk into a classroom and shout Heil Hitler and think you're promoting free speech (classrooms aren't the same as public areas, legally). He was trespassing and refused to leave because he didn't want to cut his video short and lose out on fake internet points. He easily could have gotten his butt beat but the students showed restraint. The full video is out there, but what makes this so infuriating is that this is an example of what the Left tries to say the Right does...but people like Charlie never tried these kind of shenanigans and then possum-played victim. Disgusting.
There's plenty of good examples of free speech being stifled for Conservatives that we don't need this kind of cosplay mucking up the message. You can't praise Hitler and Seig Heil while calling people fags in a private space like he did and expect people not to react, especially when you're trespassing. This is FAFO from pure intentional, illegal, instigation of a crowd of people.
