💯 % agreed, it seems a shame. I think the nerd and alt subcultures will all come back full circle in the end. The whole populist isolationist conservative position is now the new punk rock engine has been humming for a while now. Recollecting on that thought, this whole societal paradigm we see now goes back to the original GamerGate. Cause/effect, snowball... whatever. I spent decades crust punk rocking.... it's easy to see when the original ship sank, USAID influenced corporations, they put up Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride on secret tax steroids... ruined everything as a result! And now the tide has shifted again, correcting the course of socially engineered history this past decade.
Again, no doubt this will blow up in their face big time!
