Major employer in a state where more than 50% of the population is LDS, and people are shocked that 20% of the employees are LDS? Seems to me that a lot of people need to take some remedial math classes.
Stew can be fun to watch, but he is way off target here.
Mormons might have some empathy for Israel because persecuted religion, people and thus homesteaded.
Similar to the Mormon journey. FYI, not Mormon here. Grew up Lutheran and will probably die Catholic. Not there yet.
Anyway, he is right about how many Mormons are NSA and CIA. I've thought about this quite a bit and had conversations with my close Mormon friend who lives in Eagle Mountain, which is down the street from the new NSA HQ.
My thoughts.
The government loves to hire Mormons in sensitive areas, because they are brought up to tell the truth and not lie. They are quite honest people.
Secondly, I think Mormons because of their past figure being in the belly of the beast is a good self preservation method.
My friend told me the first and I gathered the second.
Mormons have a healthy distrust of government and do not like the deep state. I was surprised at how many of them took the Vax, but again, that most likely came from senior temple leadership, which is compromised/corrupt. Similar to just about all religions and their leadership.
Anyway, never once have I ever felt there is any kind of Israeli thing going on. Complete hogwash.
Finally, Mormons make great neighbors. If you are fortunate enough to have one? Get to know them. Their religious views might be a bit different than most Protestant religions, but they are fine people that do view themselves as Christian.
There’s no such thing as “temple leadership” in the Mormon church so right off the bat you’re mistaken. They were told to by their former President if the Church, who just died last week, Russell M. Nelson, who was a heart surgeon who was duped like many others into thinking the Covid vax was a vaccine just cause they said it was. Most Mormons were against the vax until he seemed to suggest they take it. As an Exmormon patriot living in Utah I was livid at the time, but very few took boosters at least so that’s good. As for the Israel thing, yes, they have similar end of world beliefs as most Christians duped by Zionism but they’re also starting to come around like many here have and see them for what they really are.
Don’t turn on Mormons. They’re on your team, aggressively, without any question. Whatever you think of their specific religious beliefs.
The LDS church has no such thing as 'temple leadership', let alone 'senior temple leadership'. Making a statement like that does absolutely nothing other than to highlight your lack of knowledge about the LDS church. If you are going to say terrible things about our leadership (especially nonexistent leaders), you should at least make sure your understanding of our religion and doctrines is correct and truthful.
Notice that I am not taking issue with your characterization of LDS members ourselves. I am glad, and appreciate, that you recognize that there are a lot of good LDS people, and that we as a group try our best to live our lives according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are no more perfect than anyone else, but we try hard to be good neighbors, to be honest, and to be worth knowing. We love our country, and most of us do what we can to support it and to support and uphold the Constitution. For you to say such good things about us as people and as members of the community, we must be getting some of those things right at least some of the time. Thank you for your kind words.

It's about what Jesus says. Mormans aren't Christians. I've talked and debated quite a few of them quite frequently in the past.
Our church is literally named after Jesus Christ. Of course we can't possibly be Christians.
According to what Jesus says Mormons are not Christians. Sad that you don't know that. The truth will Make you free. Jesus is Lord.
“senior temple leadership, which is compromised/corrupt“ This statement in not even remotely true.
Mormons were told to take the vax by the temple leadership. Imo, that is a corruption signal.

Tabernacles and Temples. Waddayaknow.
And masonic oaths. And American Indians are Jews.
