Cruz ran for president in spite of failing to have natural born citizenship, because he didn't have:
an American father at the time of birth (father was born in Cuba)
birth in America (Born in Calgary, Canada)
Non-natural born citizenship cannot be fixed by filing papers as an adult. Cruz is a Republican Obama.
