I have used psychedelics, and the one thing I can attest to personally, is that it changes your perspective. It opens your eyes to see things differently, I never saw what was not there, no hallucinations, but the depth of a thing, especially in nature, trees, flowers, rocks, become alive in a way that is hard to describe. I saw the life inside of them and had an understanding of Creation that I did not have before I experienced this. Severe depression is very different than being melancholy. Genetically of the Celtic race, melancholy is systemic in many of my people. Often the catalyst for great art and common sense. I do believe that for every illness, God created the cure within this earth, that medicine does not have to be made inside of a laboratory with danger to the rest of our system. Cannabis has helped me move around with less pain, my doctor approves. The stiffness and spasms that happen with spinal arthritis are helped by it, and its sort of amazing how that works, but it works. I found an old medical encyclopedia that was being thrown out in a state hospital I worked in, they were renovating and many things ended up in a dumpster. I snatched it, it was written in 1921, and full of herbal medicines that were used by pharmacists back then. Love is built right into pure Creation, so of course God would have created plants that grow here for our medicines. There are cautions for things, and a novice should always seek guidance from an herbalist who has studied, not just rando advice,
