If you think about it, it's not just a sound like a bell or a horn, it's actual language being broadcast into people's ears. I'm not sure how that's not against FCC and doesn't constitute broadcast.
Language that you don't understand going into your ears at high decibel is very unnerving. No one except themselves even knows what they're saying. What if one day they blare out a call to Fatwah or something but nobody else knows knows or understands?
They also banned church bells. They consider them hate.
Dearborn has been blaring the call to Islam for at least 25 years that I know of. I lived in Detroit in 2002 and it was going on then. I'm surprised people are just now piping up about it. Maybe they have been but now they're finally being heard. It's a real pestilence.
I thought for sure the Polish population in Hamtramck would have gotten tired of it and taken care of this. Guess not.
“They didn't want Christians, evangelizing Muslims or handing out tracts or anything. But they couldn't just make a rule saying Christians aren't allowed to distribute materials. So they just made a rule and they said no one's allowed to hand out materials, but then they only enforced it on Christians.”
“Two of my friends walked over to the Arab Festival outside of the Arab Festival and tried to distribute copies of the Gospel of John in English and Arabic and they were stopped immediately outside the festival. You didn't see what happened afterwards, but they took us to the security booth, they photographed us, they took our IDs, got the information, took our camera, cell phone for a little while. They let us go and just explain the rules to us. But what the rule is, it seems, is not that you can't distribute copies of the Gospel of John inside the Festival. It also applies outside the Festival.”
He tries it on public streets, again is blocked
“They're doing these workarounds which were, you know, all for basic. They're implementing Sharia in a way that they could pass it off as they're not implementing Sharia.”
“I'm here on the corner of Warren and Frida in Dearborn, Michigan, United States. And if I were to take this gospel of Jesus Christ by St. John and hand it out to anyone on the street, I will be put in jail, again.”
This has been going on for 15 years at least and David Wood has the video proof to prove it"
After seeing multiple vids on Dearborn - they should have a yearly National Day of Prayer Christian festival there, including a parade. The Catholics have a yearly festival here & people come from all over. It's family oriented & a lot of fun. After seeing what their mayor said recently, we can't allow Dearborn to become a no-go-zone. ❤️🇺🇸🙏🏻
didn't watch all of it but this sounds a little bit like clickbait or a genuine misunderstanding, I have encountered this issue IRL as well
sometimes public spaces seem to be able to be "booked" so that a private group can do whatever and restrict certain activities temporarily
it's like for example to prevent soliciting which might interfere with the event
My point being they were probably totally fine to hand out literature outside the designated area which was reserved probably by permit (and they probably were not singled out but that this rule applies across the board)
(granted, they probably were more strict on "Christians" and would allow muslims and others more leniency, but that's a slightly different issue)
as others say, if I am misunderstanding this and they did like block legally protected activity in other areas on the city, then you could probably sue indeed
Court. Law suit. First amendment.

I think it's a natSec issue.

This is the kind of stuff they've wanted for every inch of America since at least LBJ and his model cities act.

This is real fascism.
Cut the wires, tear the speakers down, revolt Dearborn!!!

Where the fuck are all the auditors we see grilling cops about filming rights and law?
Not 1 of those so called feds were wearing body cameras
Who was President sixteen years ago? Yep, satanist George Bush.
