APEs and Frogs,
I just saw on SuperStonk that Fedwire, the system that allows banks to instantly send money back and forth, is going down on Monday. Last time this happened was in 2021 same day as the squeeze.
We always said one domino will fall then the others will follow. This cuts off their ability to help one another cover for margin calls, does it not?
What say you all is this what is going to kick off MOASS? I need this soon. Would be the perfect time. It's either some DJT or Silver that I have to sell in a few weeks to cover my needs. Had a custody case that bit my ass hard. Sucks to pay a lawyer to help you protect your kids from their mother.
Anyway. Think we will moon on Monday? Or will it be Tuesday? Or tomorrow? Or in two weeks?
Thanks frens, DBEMarine
EDIT: US Bonds Market is closed but the Stock Market is open on Columbus Day(Monday)
We currently have the FED suppressing the price of silver. It's in play right now far more than GME. Maybe a silver squeeze will lift up GME......
I was just looking at gold, silver, stocks and crypto, something seems to be happening.
Right. I've been watching silver climb. It's almost at it's highest since 1980 and silver has only had more uses be created since then, no reason for it to not be higher. Well, if we don't count crime...
There is what 20+ kilos of silver in a Tesla battery that can't be reclaimed after it dies?
Chat GPT says No. A Tesla battery pack does not contain 20 kg of silver — that would be vastly unrealistic.
Here are the facts:
Modern lithium-ion batteries use only tens of grams of silver per vehicle (typically 25–50 g).
Ok. I always thought that number was crazy. Thanks. I should know better than to trust shit I hear on the net.
As of today, 20 kg of silver would make 32´200,00 USD ... the most expensive Tesla battery, for Model X costs US$ 20.000-US$ 25.000
Yeah, I messed up with something I heard a long time ago.
It looks like every crypto is in the red pretty majorly right now as well. Seems like they are dumping for something lol
Can't economically be reclaimed, all metals can be reclaimed if you want to spend the effort but a lot of silver recycling technologies remain penny stocks as from what I've heard it'd have to get over like $50/oz for them to be considered even worthwhile to use. Below that it's cheaper to buy newly-mined silver.
Right, sorry I didn't say that correctly. Thanks for that. Didn't even realize they were penny stocks.
I'm sure you meant 2021.
Also there was a weird event later in 2021 where the ACH system went down for an hour and we saw the stock suddenly climb by nearly $100/share until they managed to short it back down.
There was also that weird day when someone was trading 17 shares back and forth for an hour.
I clearly remember that... hopefully when this is all over, we find out how these 2 events were connected. Nothing is random....
Things have changed since then.
The cabal has since installed a halt button and circuit breaker to stop any upward spike.
Crap, I get excited and make mistakes. Yes 2021.
Oh I didn't know about the 17 being tossed about. I was late to the game(haha). And SuperStonk doesn't really go in for Q so I'm sure that doesn't get mentioned a lot.
Yes the 17 event wasn't mentioned there, it was mentioned here and I took a look to see that it was indeed happening. I've tried searching for the post but search is being useless no matter what permutations I try, it might have been long ago deleted.
I was still married and going through hell at that point. I didn't have time to look into GME but once I did oh boy.
I moved what was left of my IT career into that and a few others. I was moving money because of the divorce and figured fuck it let's bet on me. There are so many times I didn't bet on me and would already have MOASS money if I had. I didn't want to miss what felt like it might be one of the last major events like this in my life.
When it comes to silver, it would be higher, but the banks are selling a ton of silver right now to cover for their short positions and silver. They’ve sold over the past two sales almost 1,000,000,000 ounces when their supply runs out then silver will go to the moon. They won’t have any more silver to sell onto the marketplace to lower the price.
Yeah, I've often wondered which order this will all pop off in.
I don't plan on trying to time it just wondered if I reinvested what it would all come too.
Columbus Day?
US Bonds market is closed but the stock market is open!
The Federal Reserve takes Columbus Day as a holiday. Fedwire being down affects the banks ability to transfer funds. Since its a holiday, they weren't going to be doing that anyway. Banks and CU's should have followed instructions before now: https://www.frbservices.org/about/holiday-schedules/2025-columbus-day. There is nothing here that would indicate some extraordinary action taking place. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean something wont happen or that someone wouldn't take advantage of the timing. Its just this isn't the thing that would indicate it. Status page: https://www.frbservices.org/app/status/serviceStatus.do
Thanks for the info.
Most silver reclamation isn't possible due to they type of usage there is. silver is often in high demand for wound dressings, catheters, cosmetics, antibac products, all the way to soldering for the HVAC systems in your house. Reclamation for a lot of silver usage is actually not just cost ineffective, but technically impossible.
