The man carrying a pitcher of water was ALWAYS PETER you just never caught on to the story quite. You nailed the rest of it. Peter was born under the sign of Aquarius.
Earlier Jesus says but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.
It was Peter who carried the water for the indentured servant. This is the reason Jesus gave Peter the Keys to the Kingdom of HEAVEN, notice it doesn't say Kingdom of God, that is because the Kingdom of Heaven is a Physical place(Mountain of God) and said FEED MY SHEEP. Peter knows where that MOUNTAIN is at and will reveal it to the people
What you really don't get is this is a FUTURE EVENT ALSO. Future Proves the Past. Peter will also point out God AGAIN, just like the first time...it's gonna be AWESOME. When you understand the Mount of Transfiguration it's gonna BLOW your minds....ready yet?
I understand the mount of transfiguration, but to me it's symbolic as a story of becoming enlightened (the mind opening to truth) .
The two that appeared represent the two hemispheres of the brain (aka the two wings of the temple), when they unite you are transformed and are never the same. People see you differently because you ARE different. Think about how much we all changed when Q came along. That's a perfect example of becoming enlightened and having the truth and knowledge transfigure you and your mind.
When I read the Bible, personally I see the same few stories written in multiple ways over and over again. The most prevalent theme is the story of becoming enlightened. Again just my opinion.

Gonna be honest, I am VERY confused and I generally can follow Biblical references to our current age.
