The only good Hardee's (not staffed by barely literate Mexicans) closed down due to low sales. Probably because they weren't hiring immigrants and paying them pennies on the dollar like the others do.... Gotta love living in Columbus. Somalia and Sudan are fighting in the streets at night and nobody even cares.
I'm pretty sure someone was firing a civil war cannon a couple nights ago. Loud and booming and far away. Lol
Hardee's is carl jr's, fyi.
Oh. Ok. I have eaten at Carl.
Hardee's is Yankee territory. Carl jr's is confederate territory.
Yes. I see. I am in the south.
I've eaten both
I think it's more West/East. We had Hardees (formerly Burger Chef) in FLA in the 70s, never heard of Carl's Jr. until I moved West.
Edit: looked it up.out of curiosity. Carl's jr. founded in CA, Hardees in SC. Companies merged around 2000.
More generally, west = Carl's Jr.; East = Hardee's and none in the northeast.
Gets funny along the diagonal line - the westernmost Hardee's is in Western Montana iirc and the easternmost Carl's Jr. is in Louisiana.
Also gets funny internationally - there's a Carl's Jr in Panama City, Panama, which is east of the entire state of Florida.
