That was my first reaction to this picture too. WTH with that insanely unflattering angle?? No professional photographer would EVER take a picture of their subject from that type of angle unless the sole purpose was to make it the person look as bad as possible. Glad POTUS is calling out this nasty ploy by Time Magazine. He deserves a MUCH more flattering photo for such a momentous occasion as ending Middle East wars.

Its called praising someone grudgingly. They know they have to say positive things, but they hate doing it.

Yeah and it's kind of growing on me, all looking up to him, towering above the rest.
That camera angle does kinda have a 'pedestal sitting' vantage point, so I guess that's one positive aspect of that picture.
